Kathleen Sebelius Makes A SHOCKING Announcement.
Are you sitting down? I hope you're sitting down, because your world is about to be ROCKED.
Just kidding. Sebelius told the House Ways and Means Committee what people with Actual Brains have known for approximately ever, which is that health insurance premiums are likely to go up next year.
If you're surprised by this, you're probably an Obama voter. Please seek counseling.
If you're NOT surprised by this, congratulations. You have a functioning brain.
Sebelius said, "I think premiums are likely to go up, but go up at a slower pace” than they did previously. This is further evidence that Sebelius is either in a total state of denial or she's continuing to follow in the footsteps of her boss by flat out lying to the American people about the impacts of Obamacare. Either way, not cool.
She also admitted that she has absolutely no idea how many Obamacare enrollees have paid their first premiums, nor does she have any idea how many Obamacare enrollees signed up because their existing plans were canceled. You know why? Because the WEBSITE SUCKS, and because Sebelius has absolutely no accountability for anything.
When Republican Rep Vern Buchanan said to Sebelius, “I don’t know how much more burden we can put on employers,” her lameass response was simply, "We are watching, as I say, that very closely.” Hear that, minions? They're WATCHING IT. You can all rest easy now, knowing that Sebelius and company are WATCHING the burden they're putting on employers.
