On Monday at The New York Meeting, Dr. Ben Carson said he does not believe in gun registration because America's massive debt could transform the nation into a third-world country in which martial law may be imposed.

"I truly believe in Second Amendment rights," Carson said. "I would never advocate anything to interfere with Second Amendment rights; however, I do think we have to be intelligent."

How did the above gets transformed to Ben Carson being against 2AMEND rights?

I guess the same way as the 'Scott Walker has no college education', rumor started.
"The Tea Party has a right to feel cheated.

When does the Republican Party, put in the majority by the Tea Party, plan to honor its commitment to halt the growth of the Federal monolith and bring the budget back into balance"?

This is a different statement than what he said in his book, "America, The Beautiful".

Hmmmmm......
I come in peace, I didn't bring artillery.  But I am pleading with you with tears in my eyes:  If you bleep with me, I'll kill you all.

Marine General James Mattis, to Iraqi tribal leaders (Note: Mattis did NOT say "BLEEP". He threw the F Bomb)

I didn't enlist in the Corps just to watch my country become a Third World Communist Shit-hole. Don't know anyone who did.

And what he told Glenn Beck in a sit down one-hour interview on The Blaze where he said unequivocally that he does not believe people who live in cities should be allowed to have guns. Oceander Loesch who was at CPAC and interviewed him there and said she really likes the man, replayed this part of this interview yesterday and he was quite clear.  It was all over Facebook at the time and I imagine he received a lot of blow-back over his statement.
