While he playfully conceded it is much more interesting when the Republican party is brawling, George Will said the conservative movement faces a lose-lose situation from the media whether they’re getting along or not.

“If they’re harmonious, the media says, ’stultifying, monochrome, oppressive, no diversity,’” Will said on Fox News Sunday. “Then when they argue with each other, they say, ‘Cry “Havoc!,” and let slip the dogs of war’ — it’s perfect nonsense.”

What it truly is, is propaganda.
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Yes, and like Will says - it's been going on since Taft was President and Teddy Roosevelt decided he wanted to be president again and went third party.
