Billie Harris went down over Northern France during WWII when his plane was shot down. For decades after that his widow was told misinformation after misinformation.

But the situation on the ground in France couldn’t have been further from that! This is a story you’ll NEVER forget!

What a remarkable story! It's a shame our government didn't help her more, and that more was done for this soldier by Frenchmen, than what is done here.  We have our patriots, just not enough of them.

I wonder if she would have gone on with her life and remarried, had she known her husband was dead? She spent a lifetime waiting on a dead person. So sad.
