Trey Gowdy was on Megan's show last night.  He said (paraphrasing)  "I have been doing this work for more than 20 years. Trust me, we will get Lois Lerner to talk."

Yes and I've been around long enough to know that posturing is all part of the game.

I really like him....... how I would love to see him instead of Lindsay Graham in the senate, but I'd love him on the SCOTUS

Did he give any idea for how he intends to do that?  Other than immunity, I doubt if there's anything else (legal) she can be offered, and at any rate my guess is that she's stalling so that somebody, or somebodys, can wipe out the paper and email trails that would lead to bigger fish so that, once done, she can lie to her heart's content and not get caught out for it.

When does the Republican Party, put in the majority by the Tea Party, plan to honor its commitment to halt the growth of the Federal monolith and bring the budget back into balance"?

No, he did not, but I would have LOVED it if he had.  All I can tell you is that his eyes got dark when he made this pronouncement at the very end of his segment.  I paraphrased just about all he said.

He sounds like he's had a good bit of prosecutorial experience-but to me he seems so young.  Guess its just another sign of how old *I* am getting.  ^-^

Gowdy's a stand-up guy, but his background has nothing to do with what would make a good Justice.

Put him into some federal court robes for a while, and that might change.

But Trey Gowdy (at this point in time) no more deserves to be on the Court, than does Dr. Ben Carson deserve to be president...
