but it wasn't a question, it was an assertion without adequate evidence to back it up; or is Mr. Harkin privy to the private internal thoughts of every other Senator?

Maybe, but the answer is John Roberts was not photographed at demonstrations in favor of freeing the murderer he defended.

Adegbile attended numerous "free Mumia" rallies.  He was more than his defense attorney.

It is one thing to defend the legal rights of a murderer, and another entirely to sanction his crimes.
Liberalism isn't really about making the world a better place. It's about reassuring the elites that they are good people for wanting to rule over it.
