Palin has been ripping into the RNC/"GOPe" for a few years now as being a huge problem for America.  She goes after the RINOs as much as she does the Dems.

Why would anyone expect the RNC to honor her?   :chairbang:

No matter the color of our skin, we all live under the same laws, we all salute the same great flag, and we are all made by the same almighty God.  We must love each other, show affection for each other, and unite together in condemnation of hatred, bigotry, and violence.  We must rediscover the bonds of love and loyalty that bring us together as Americans.

Racism is evil.  And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans

Okay. Now I understand. The RNC is about petty politics, not objective truth. Thanks for clearing that up.

And they (Rove and the good old boys) wonder why they're losing support to the tea party.

The leaders of a party not consumed with sucking up to those who despise it would have simply issued a statement noting that throughout America, Republican women are making history every month.

Did you read the article?  The honored Niki Haley and Susana Martinez - neither of whom would have been elected except for Sarah Palin. Both were losing their races until she a) endorsed them and b) appeared for them and after she did a and b they moved ahead and won their races....   The GOPe didn't help get them elected - SARAH PALIN helped get them elected.

Oh and "C" Palin was the first woman who ran for Vice President in the Republican old boys club.

Palin has helped get Republican women elected by making key endorsements that brought both support and finances--women such as Susana Martinez and Nikki Haley, two women the RNC praised in their statement.

So she made endorsements. So what? Didn't other people make endorsements too?

Woo hoo, a Palin thread brings 'em out of the woodwork (like termites).  If one's only response is, "So what?" why bother responding at all?

Personally, I would have been shocked if the GOP had honored Palin, given her criticism of their "go along" mentality (despite her having nominated to run for VP). I'm sure she'll get over it, though.
I have decided to officially and formally not apologize. I'm not sorry at all, even slightly.

Indeed, I especially want to convey my absence of remorse to anyone who was offended by what I said. If you are the sort of person who gets twisted into knots when someone articulates a point of view that differs from your own, then you are exactly the sort of person who should never receive an apology for a differing point of view — if I were offering one, which, again, I'm not.

Articles about restoring Republican unity, in order to win elections? Rare or none at all.

Articles about conflict between TP and GOPe? Numerous, continuous, predictable, monotonous. Takes no talent, creativity or insight to write one.

Articles portraying "conservatives" as victims? Numerous, continuous, predictable, monotonous. Takes no talent, creativity or insight to write one.

You're right AC.  And although Bush always gets the blame, it seems like the economy started heading downhill after 2006 with the Dem control.  However, I do blame George W. Bush for that and for Obama's victory after that - because he refused to fight back, and thus enabled what we are suffering through now.  Bush is a good man, but I think he got bad advice from Karl Rove and others.  The Tea Party saved the GOP's butt in 2010.

Yes, and Sarah Palin played a major role in this no matter how the people who rarely post other than to mock her want to think otherwise.

You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
