Academy Awards

Winners and loosers............ and red carpet.  I had to change the channel right off the bat when they had to interview Sidney Poitier...... who could barely form an understandable comment.

Not having been to the movies in 8 or 10 years, I am wholly unfamiliar with this year's offerings. But will someone explain to me why people who have nothing to do with the motion picture industry show up at these award shows? Paris Hilton and the omnipresent Taylor Swift are bad enough, but why Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski (dressed as bride and ... something)?

The skeptic is never for real. There he stands, cocktail in hand, left arm draped languorously on one end of the mantelpiece, telling you that he can't be sure of anything, not even of his own existence. I'll give you my secret method of demolishing universal skepticism in four words. Whisper to him: "Your fly is open." If he thinks knowledge is so all-fired impossible, why does he always look? — James Sire (from, The Universe Next Door)

Either Camila Alvies is really tall or Matthew McConneghey is shorter than I thought.

Does she think it's attractive to be bone thin?

First maternity look

It’s Kerry Washington and she’s gorgeous. So why did she slip on the hotel bedsheets and why didn’t she get someone to steam the dress for her? Could she literally not get the staff? IF

Yikes! Fright night! This photo's worse than the first one.
