KUNMING – Unidentified armed gunmen reportedly stormed a railway station in Kunming, capital of southwest China’s Yunnan Province, yesterday, leaving 27 dead and at least 109 injured, reports said.
Few details were available of the attack.
Pictures circulating on Sina Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, showed bodies splattered with blood on the floor. Medical attendants can be seen taking patients to a local hospital and police patrolling the station, Xinhua said.
