Egypt’s interim president has appointed a prime minister to replace Hazem el-Beblawi, who resigned on Monday.Adly Mansour named Ibrahim Mehlib as prime minister after a brief meeting on Tuesday.Mr. Mehlib led Arab Contractors, Egypt’s biggest construction company, for more than a decade. He was an appointed member of the Shura Council (Parliament Upper House) in 2010 under ousted president Hosni Mubarak. He was also member of the policies committee of the now dissolved National Democratic Party, state-run newspaper Al-Ahram reported.
