conclusive proof that you can be arrested for anything, at any time, or for nothing at all, and there isn't a thing you can do about it.  In most jurisdictions, failing to heed a police officer's instructions is either disorderly conduct or resisting arrest, either one of which can get you a potentially permanent criminal record.

No kidding, O. Since when do we have to carry IDs (papers) as pedestrians? I hate a-hole cops, and I was married to one. He wasn't rude or crude like these jerks, though.
