Which really makes me wonder if your only reason for spending so much time here is because you really get your jollies in talking down to everyone so you can make yourself feel like you are so much smarter than us poorly conservatives.  You certainly get off on mocking the only people who actually care to save this country from the socialists in both parties.
I vote strictly conservative, Republican. No democrats, ever. No 3rd parties, ever.

I do NOT idolize politicians. I am (should be) free to speak with scepticism and cynicism about all of them.

If you introduce further qualifications, that I cheer when and for whom you require me to, I will be disqualified.

If you introduce further qualifications, that I be giddy at the latest fad candidate, I will be disqualified.

If you introduce further qualifications that I criticize who you dictate, I will be disqualified.

I spend far less time here than you, yet feel that YOU get jollies from stalking me like it is your job to straighten me out, teach me how I must be to conform here.

to quote your first comment on the thread:

These "true conservative" forums are entertaining.

It was a pure slam at this forum and conservatives.

Glenn Beck is entertaining. Is that a slam, too?

Instead, McConnell and Cornyn avoided the shutdown scenario, robbing the Democrats of an issue.

Pity the geniuses McConnell and Cornyn couldn't figure out a way to stop the Democrats from further robbing the American taxpayer.

I call BS. On TOS and not FR, (the one that last I heard had a power hungry mod remaining; just about talking to no one but herself) You were not conservative at all; you fit right in with the hard core liberals there.

If you are a progressive so be it but don't say you are conservative or vote this way. I am not buying this.

When does the Republican Party, put in the majority by the Tea Party, plan to honor its commitment to halt the growth of the Federal monolith and bring the budget back into balance"?

I vote conservative, period. So your "buying it" judgment is really bad.

I also enjoy my freedom of speech, so long as it remains.

Who the hell cares if you "buy it" or not?

I care. Most of us care what each other thinks.

TS and I go back a ways. Actually, sinkspur and I go back a ways too, and have had our share of fights, but we are still friends!

What is the most valuable aspect of a conservative site? I would say vetting candidates and the elected representatives. They call it like they see it, just as we all do. TS is very fiscally conservative - socially, not so much (I think he's a libertarian who doesn't want to be labelled  :tongue2: )
