"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin

Over criminalization is a growing problem. So many laws, rules and regulations it's nearly impossible not to break one or more just going about your business. The framers vision of a free people has been all but lost to us in Obama's America.
NeverTrump wants to deny you YOUR voice, YOUR presidential choice.

Agreed!

The original Patriots began their rebellion in what is now known as New England.  So there is a bit of similarity here.

The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. - Ayn Rand
