A VERY, VERY powerful letter to coca cola
« on: February 10, 2014, 05:22:43 AM »
"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin

Timothy got himself a rather large dose of a Patriot's perspective. People who love America as she was founded are a very different breed of American from those Democrat socialists and globalist invaders who merely live here. Bravo Barbara!

What a great letter - I think the letter alone should be a stand alone post for all the people here who think it is cool to call us racists and bigots for objecting to the continual selling out this once great nation for cheap labor.

Excellent, EXCELLENT letter - thank you Barbara Gilbert! I have already quit drinking Coca-Cola, although it was my soft drink of choice for many decades, or I would quit drinking it now.  They've been sliding down the progressive slope for years and I think they've about hit bottom.

Pepsi is no better, and although I love my "pop" as it is known in these parts - it just isn't good for you.  The diet stuff is perhaps even worse for you than the sugary stuff.  I know - I KNOW - it's addictive (like heroin almost), but I've finally kicked the habit!

I would stop buying their producrs too, if I hadn't already several years ago!!  I stoped drinking pop regularly when I found out how bad it really is!!  I was drinking several cans of "diet" which as you say is worse than regular.  On occasion I will have a regular, but no more "diet" crap.
