She's not running for the president.  Maybe the house or senate and she meets the requirements for either.

Correct... she's running for congress and the dem is retiring so het off a are good this time.  EC suggested her for President, too and that will never happen... I think she'll be great in congress though.

She was born in Haiti to Hatian parents, not eligible.

Dang. Still, get her into the House then.

Why does it seem all the best conservatives are ineligible in one way or another (ie. immigrants).

It is way, way too early. Hopefully the midterms will turn out well, and the divisiveness will settle down in order for the new Congress to wield more political clout.

It is fully two years from now for the start of Presidential primaries. Hopefully by then the field will be narrowed, to just a few serious contenders, instead of the clown of the week we had last time.
