Former Senior White House advisor and MSNBC contributor David Axelrod took to his Twitter account on Thursday where he strongly advised Democratic donors to keep their wallets closed for Hillary Clinton for the time being. He said they should be focused on 2014 and the Democratic Senate majority which is “seriously at risk.”
“With the Senate seriously at risk, and the Koch Brothers spending prodigiously, shouldn’t Dem funders be focused on ’14 and not ’16 races?” Axelrod asked.
His tweet comes following the news that the Democratic super PAC Priorities USA Action will sit out the 2014 cycle and instead focus on raising money for Clinton’s prospective presidential race in 2016.h/t Washington Examiner
