Shiny!  I'll bet if you hit a reaction mass of water with this it would easily flash it past steam and into some dense plasma....might make one heck of a good drive motor.....

I dunno, plasma is pretty light stuff.  Doesn't mean you won't get a nice reaction motor out of it tho' since all you need is moving mass.
