It could happen here..
“If he will lie to or mislead his wife and daughter, those with whom he is most intimate, what will prevent him from doing the same to the American public? Private conduct does have public consequences.”

Heh. Obama only wishes he could turn the US into Venezuela or Cuba. Fortunately, I've stocked up at Sam's Club and have a few months' worth of TP.   :pondering:

Wise of you. I've been places where TP is actually a form of currency.  The soft stuff is worth more!

The real currency may be coffee. We can use leaves for TP, but there's no good substitute for morning java.

Coffee is a good one, as is tea. The most sought after thing though, in my experience? Sea salt and Tabasco. Makes anything edible. The Romans were not dummies :) TP would be second, pepper 3rd.

A toilet paper shortage?  No shit! (?) :silly:
"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin
