(CNSNews.com) – When asked about President Barack Obama’s references to issuing executive orders on climate change and the minimum wage during his State of the Union address on Tuesday, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) said the president is acting like a monarch.
“He said it over and over and over again and throughout the speech,” Bachmann said following the president’s address. “In fact, I think there’s a line that I wrote down that he said: ‘Let’s make this a year of action,’ and then he declared himself King Obama shortly thereafter.
“So he said, ‘Do it, but if you don’t do it – if you don’t do what I say - I’m going to do it anyway,’” Bachmann said.
“So, the American people know that the legacy of this president will be the establishment of lawlessness in the United States,” Bachmann said. “He really doesn’t see himself restricted in any way by Article 2 under the Constitution – that’s his limitations in powers. “He refuses to faithfully execute the laws as they are written, and he decides to write the laws the way he wants them written,” Bachmann said. “So he’s a complete lawless president.” - See more at:
