Making the Rounds: Barry Soetoro’s Columbia University School ID
Posted by Jim Hoft on Thursday, January 23, 2014, 2:05 PM

This picture is making the rounds on the internet today.
Young Barry Soetoro at Columbia University.

Thank you, Andrew Malcolm.

It’s so hard keeping up with this guy’s story.
One day he’s telling everybody he’s from Kenya.
Even writing it in a book:

Then you find out he’s Indonesian.
It’s all so confusing.

The ID is a fake.

The ID number does not match the bar code and the picture is from the "Dreams From My Father" dust jacket from 1995. It is a very well known fake that does the rounds about once a year and gets boring.

The book quote is accurate. I have a physical copy of it. It was only on the first edition paperback. The second edition was changed.
