Today show weatherman Al Roker has strongly attacked New York Mayor Bill de Blasio for his response to the snowstorm which hit the city on Tuesday
The respected host dismissed the administrations claims that the storm hit earlier than predicted
The mayor is accused of class warfare by residents of the Upper East Side after snow plows fail to clear the streets for hours
The mayor's home of Park Slope was clear by mid-afternoon
De Blasio denied he gave preferential treatment to outer boroughs over Manhattan yesterday
Claimed the response was a resounding success
Turmoil comes to parts of the Upper East Side, SoHo, Lower Manhattan and Midtown as three-hour traffic pile-ups form
Buses caused huge traffic line on Lexington Avenue at 83rd St after lead vehicle which didn't have tire chains became stuck
Some irate residents of Manhattan call for the return of Michael Bloomberg
Bill de Blasio was fiercely critical of Bloomberg's response to the 2010 blizzard
