Quote
A veterinary surgeon who has seen dogs with a disease is warning owners to be aware of any signs of wounds on their pets' legs as these could be the first indicators of the condition, which is lethal for the animals.

Of 16 dogs shown to have symptoms of the disease, just three have survived.

David Walker, of Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists in Hursley in Winchester, has seen eight dogs with the disease since the end of last year - including the three that have survived.

He said: "There's unfortunately a high death rate so far.

"What is unique about these dogs is they have both kidney failure and skin wounds.

Sounds like more tainted Chinee dog food to me.  These problems do not just crop up out of nowhere and we have seen things like this far too often not to question their food first, and suspect anything in it that originated in China.

Melamine contamination? That happened a few years back - similar symptoms too.
