White House: We Don’t Have The Technology To See How Many Are Covered Under Obamacare

They have the technology to spy on every single American and foreign leader; read our e-mails and texts; monitor our internet usage; listen in on our cell phone conversations; track us through an ever-growing network of surveillance means, including unmanned aerial vehicles and cameras; watch what we post on Google or Facebook; crack any encryption system in the world with a “super” quantum computer (actually, they’re still working on that one); and store much of this information in a ginormous $2 billion data center in Utah.

They can do all that without anyone knowing or caring all that much, but they don’t have the technology to determine how many people are currently covered through Obamacare.

Breitbart reported:

During a House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing, Rep. Gregg Harper (R-MS) asked Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) deputy administrator and director for the Center’s Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight division Gary Cohen how many people have activated their Obamacare coverage by making their first premium payment. Cohen said no one knows, because that part of the Obamacare system has not been built yet.

“The most important number, as has been reported by many news outlets, is whether individuals have paid. Does the administration collect this information?” asked Harper.

“Right now we’re not, but we will be,” said Cohen.

“When?” asked Harper.

“As soon as that functionality is built,” said Cohen.

“So we don’t know at this point how many people have paid for coverage?” Harper asked.

“That’s right,” said Cohen.

Health insurance plans purchased through Obamacare only kick in once a customer pays his first month’s premium. The Obama administration claims over two million people have “enrolled” in Obamacare, but Cohen’s testimony makes it clear the administration lacks even the ability to know how many of those who put insurance plans in their “shopping carts” actually completed their purchase and paid their premiums.

Reports by the Wall Street Journal have suggested that numerous insurers have only received payments from half of those who signed up for Obamacare.

They have some of the most sophisticated military weapons and surveillance technology in the world. But they can’t tell how many people have paid through this great and wondrous government healthcare system that they all pretended to care so much about. I guess at least we know where their priorities really are.

Constitutions are not designed for metaphysical or logical subtleties, for niceties of expression, for critical propriety, for elaborate shades of meaning, or for the exercise of philosophical acuteness or judicial research. They are instruments of a practical nature, founded on the common business of human life, adapted to common wants, designed for common use, and fitted for common understandings.

If they don't know, maybe they should ask one of the millions of hackers?
