I'm not sure this is a clear sign that liberalism doesn't have supporters.  After all, your typical liberal is generally more urban and less likely to drive a car than a non-liberal.  Urbanites also tend to be away from their apartments much more than a suburbanite would be from their home, and when you're out you're more likely to be listening to music on an iPod or your iPhone (almost all liberals have i-* products), especially with friends.

So it's not really much of a surprise that there would be a much smaller audience for liberal talk radio; they simply have other venues (including, e.g., most major "news" outlets).
