Springsteen, Fallon Mock Christie With 'Born to Run' Parody

Embattled New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has never made any secret of his man-crush on New Jersey rocker Bruce Springsteen, and until Hurricane Sandy hit it was an unrequited crush. The relationship seemed to take a turn in the immediate wake of the hurricane when Christie literally and figuratively embraced President Obama. According to some reports, Christie was so thrilled to meet Springsteen he "wept" afterwards.

The friendship, though, appears to be fair-weather, at least as far as Springsteen is concerned. Tuesday night on Jimmy Fallon's late night show, the rocker mocked Christie with his signature Jersey hit "Born to Run.":
The parody had to be a dual blow for Christie. Having Springsteen take a shot at him is one thing but to do it with "Born to Run" is the unkindest cut.

I hate to say it...but I thought the skit funny.  And well, with Christie it is a bit "live by the sword, die by the sword".  Even if Hillary was probably behind it all.

What is funny (to me) is how Christie was on Fallon last year doing the "cool" slow rolling thing that Fallon did with Obama.......... and Christie practically wet his pants over Obama hooking him up with Springsteen..... and now... Springsteen and Fallon are making Christie the butt of their jokes... when will these people learn - either admit you are a Democrat and join their party or know the Democrats will skewer anyone with an R at their first opportunity.
