NY Common Core Website Directs Kids To Lewd Sex Survey Site

A New York mother of a kindergarten student discovered links to lewd material on the New York State Education Department “Engage NY” Common Core website. The site offers a link to help young students prep for tests and quizzes, when she clicked on the link she was directed to a sex survey website.  The link was active on the NYSED website since October 2012.

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) site contained a section called “Make test prep fun,” which directed students to a site with quizzes that help them find out if they are a “sexy bitch,” “evil,” a “freak,” “insane,” etc.

Scrolling down and right on the page, students could also click on the links to take quizzes that would help them find out if they are “sluts,” or “losers.”

Questions on the “Are you a slut?” test include:
•How many sexual partners have you had?
•Would you have a threesome or a gang bang?
•Are you often called a slut?
•Have you ever let a boy hump you or grind on you in your younger years?
•Have you ever messed around with brothers, cousins, or some other people related somehow?
•What type of sex do you enjoy/prefer?

Students who wish to find out if they are a “loser” must answer these questions:
•Are you a virgin?
•Do you pay to talk to hot girls, and or pay for any female interaction?
•How many times per day do you jerk your dick to porn/female pictures?
•When did you last have sex?
•How much is in your savings and checking?
•What’s the average size of your dick?
•How much time do you spend on femdom sites per day?
•Do you cross dress?

I'm not going to defend the NYS Ed Dept, but considering how sloppily government puts websites together - see Obamacare's healthcare.gov - I can see how this link would have been thrown up there by some intern without a lot of careful vetting being done.

At any rate, just in case anyone wants to focus on the site itself - which might have gotten its links up by misrepresenting itself as a legitimate testing company - the domain name is owned by a Dutch entity called Happy Light Bulb BV.  The full whois data on the domain name is:

A review indicates the site is really about internet "tests" of the cosmopolitan variety and, even though it does allow you to create your own test, isn't really about education.  The simplest answer is that this was probably put up there in a rush, without much thought put into it, and the simplest response should be to write to the NYS Ed Dept and request that they take the link down because it's inappropriate.

It would also have been nice if Breitbart (the apparent source of the article) had called up the NYS Ed Dept and asked for a comment on the link and why it was up on the Dept's website.

Here is a Common Core math question for a New York 9-year-old........



and then we have the mother in Arkansas who spoke to the school board a week ago about her child's math problem what is 90 divided by 18?  The board member replied 5 - which is the correct answer, however the child giving this straight-forward answer would fail since they require 108 steps to arrive at the answer and the child has to show all 108 steps.  This is all based on the new math of the 60's which failed miserably and schools returned to teaching regular math....
