Two interesting items in this mostly rehash of an article.  1) that Christie met with the port authority one week prior to this closure and 2) it was the New York Port Authority who re-opened the bridge ... not NJ.

None of it implicates the Governor.  His staff sure as hell was out of control and that issue has been solved.  I did not realize until now that these lane closures were for four days running....

What a mess.

What a mess.

Actually he only fired two of the people involved per the emails.  Also if he was not involved, he certainly set an atmosphere that made his staff believe this would be acceptable behavior.....
