Judicial Watch is a non-partisan political watchdog group whose motto is ‘Because no one is above the law.’  According to their Mission Statement:

“Judicial Watch, Inc., a conservative, non-partisan educational foundation, promotes transparency, accountability and integrity in government, politics and the law. Through its educational endeavors, Judicial Watch advocates high standards of ethics and morality in our nation’s public life and seeks to ensure that political and judicial officials do not abuse the powers entrusted to them by the American people. Judicial Watch fulfills its educational mission through litigation, investigations, and public outreach.”

“…Litigation and the civil discovery process not only uncover information for the education of the American people on anti-corruption issues, but can also provide a basis for civil authorities to criminally prosecute corrupt officials. Judicial Watch seeks to ensure high ethical standards in the judiciary through monitoring activities and the use of the judicial ethics process to hold judges to account…”

In their endeavor to educate the American people and warn politicians when they are not living up to their sworn public oaths, they post of list of worst and most corrupt politicians for the year.  Most of the names on the list are those you would expect like President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder.  Several names may catch you off guard such as Speaker of the House John Boehner or Senator Saxby Chambliss.  But what really surprised me was who was missing from the list such as House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Secretary of State John Kerry.

Judicial Watch, for reasons of their own, listed their top ten in alphabetical order instead of the order of corruptness for each politician.  I guess they’ll leave that up to us to formulate our own rankings, however I will say right now that Barack Obama is definitely the number one corrupt politician in American history and Eric Holder is a very close number two in my book.

So here are Judicial Watch’s top ten:

Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH)
CIA Director John Brennan
Senator Saxby Chambliss
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
Attorney General Eric Holder
Former IRS Commissioner Steven T. Miller / Former IRS Official Lois Lerner
Former DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano
President Barack Obama
Senator Harry Reid (D-NV)
Health Secretary Kathleen Sebelius

For those of you who were wondering about Bloomberg, don’t be too dismayed because JW also provided a list of ‘dishonorable mention’ which consisted of the following four people:
Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg
Outgoing Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell (R) / Incoming Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D)
Former Rep. Rick Renzi (R-AZ)
National Security Adviser Susan Rice

Rep John Boehner was placed on the list because he engages in what Peter Schweizer, President of Government Accountability Institute calls Tollbooth Strategy.  That’s where Boehner took in nearly $200,000 in donations from banking and investment companies just days before voting to pass a bill that directly impacted their business.  On another occasion, Boehner accepted donations totaling $40,000 from wireless industry executives just before voting for their industry.

CIA Director John Brennan was placed on the list because of his blowing the cover of US spies within al Qaeda.  Before being appointed to the CIA director’s seat, Brennan was the top counterterror adviser for the White House.  In a teleconference with TV reporters, he revealed that the US and their allies had inside contacts within al Qaeda.  The very next day newspaper headlines were telling the world including al Qaeda that we had spies planted in their midst.  What makes this worse is that Obama turned around and made Brennan, the man who couldn’t keep his mouth shut, the director of the CIA.

Republican Sen. Chambliss was placed on the list for his excessive abuse of leadership PAC loopholes in 2012 that were exposed in 2013.  He used these loopholes to support his lavish lifestyle.  The New York Times, referring to Schweizer’s book Extortion: How Politicians Extract Your Money, Buy Votes, and Line Their Own Pockets reported:

“The book details the extravagant expenses of Senator Saxby Chambliss, Republican of Georgia, for instance, whose leadership PAC spent $10,000 on golf at Pebble Beach, nearly $27,000 at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, and $107,752 at the exclusive Breakers resort in Palm Beach, Fla. The amount Mr. Chambliss spent at the Breakers in the 2012 election cycle, the book reports, is three times what the senator gave to the National Republican Senatorial Committee during the same period.”

Former DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano was placed on the list because of her pride that stemmed from her key role in helping Obama subvert Congress and implement his Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) directive in lieu of DREAM Act passage.  She intentionally directed her staff to not enforce all of the current immigration laws and allowed millions of detained illegals go free and stay in the US.

Sen. Harry Reid’s placement on the list is without question.  Judicial Watch says Reid made the list because of his dealings with the Chinese green energy company ENN Energy.  They say it was no coincidence that Reid pushed heavily for ENN Energy considering that they are a major client of a law firm in Reid’s home state of Nevada.  Not only are they a client of the law firm, but Reid’s son Rory is a principal of the firm.

Secondly JW lists Reid’s partisan motivated gutting of the Senate filibuster rules.  When the Republicans held control of the Senate and suggested changing the rules, Reid was madder than Al Sharpton over the Trayvon Martin shooting.  But fair play has never been a part of Reid’s vocabulary and after Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz conducted his filibuster last year, Reid decides to take it upon himself to do what he fought so vehemently against a few years earlier and change the Senate filibuster rule to make it easier for Democrats and harder for Republicans to use the political tool.

Former IRS Commissioner Miller and former IRS official Lois Lerner should need no explanation for their placement on the list of most corrupt politicians for 2013.  Their directives to purposely target Tea Party, patriotic, conservative and Christian groups seeking non-profit status was in direct violation of the groups’ constitutional rights and the two of them should be in jail already.  However, since the fact that Miller and former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman visited the White House far more often than any other cabinet members clearly indicate where the received their instructions and that Obama should be sitting in jail with them.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is on the list largely due to her lies and cover up concerning Benghazi.  Although she said she would accept full responsibility for what happened in light of the mounting evidence against her, she continues to deny any wrong doing before, during and after the attack on the compound and the deaths of the four Americans.  Covering up a scandal should be second nature for Hillary, considering the job her husband Bill did in covering up the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

Hillary was also placed on the list because of the scandal involving her top aid Huma Abedin.  While working as Hillary’s top aid, Abedin was also allowed to work as a ‘special government employee.’  This is a consulting position that allowed her to represent non-government clients, one of which was Teneo, a consulting firm co-founded by Bill Clinton’s former adviser Doug Bend.

I would also add Hillary’s involvement and support of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood and their crimes against humanity.  Egyptian lawyers are contemplating filing international charges against Hillary for her support in the slaughter of Egyptians who protested against the Muslim Brotherhood government.  Additionally, I would add her deliberate selection of a Huma Abedin to be her closet aid and confidant knowing that Abedin’s mother was an active member in the Muslim Sisterhood, the female counterpart of the Brotherhood.  This direct and close family tie mostly like led to the leaking of classified information to the Muslim leadership of Egypt.

Lastly, President Obama and AG Holder have too many issues to list here. They are both guilty of breaking numerous federal laws and the US Constitution.  Obama has assumed the role supreme dictator in his repeatedly bypassing Congress and declaring changes to laws on his own.  Obama, like Hillary, is guilty of treason in that he aided and abetted sworn enemies of the United States and he did so against the dictates of Congress.  Egyptian lawyers have filed charges of criminal terrorism and crimes against humanity against Obama in international court

Holder, who is supposed to be the nation’s top cop, is equally as guilty as Obama in breaking numerous federal laws and the US Constitution.  We could start with his refusal to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act and some of the federal immigration laws.  He misused his authority to bully opponents of Obama, especially Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio who had his Cold Case Posse investigate Obama’s birth certificate.  Holder also misused his position to stop many efforts to clean up election frauds.  In fact, most of what Holder has done was to support the violation of law and Constitution.

I’m curious to see who you would have added to the list of the most corrupt politicians of 2013.

I would have put the entire Washington press corps on the list.
