I'd throw in the P-51 Mustang too, as that was the premier Allied tank killer toward the end of the war.

But nothing has ever topped the A-10 for CAS and anti-tank missions.  One of the toughest airplanes ever designed, and it had to be tough just to absorb the recoil of that massive 30 mm cannon...
