"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin

It is abundantly clear to anyone paying attention that the Obama foreign policy is specifically designed to stick a knife in the back of every friend the USA has in the region!

Stupid is as stupid does; apply that to whomever you'd like in this sorry set of affairs.

I had been wondering what it was called. :silly:

This all goes back to Sunni v Shiia v Persian Empire v Alewite Shia....ancient Muslim divisions that go back centuries and whose relations have not improved with access to modern weapons.  Instead of massive horse charges with scimitars, they fight each other with tanks, aircraft, chemical weapons and soon, nuclear weapons.

The Saudis do indeed feel stabbed, and it is what will drive them to procure nuclear weapons for themselves and other favored Sunni Arab Princes throughout the Arabian peninsula.  Ten years ago, who would have believed that the Sunni Arabs and the Jews would be allied together against Iran??

The damage being done by the Troika of Obama, Kerry and Hagel is going to be felt for decades down the road.  These three are going to be responsible for igniting a nuclear brush war sometime in the next ten years, probably less.  The incompetence and quest for personal political gain to cover for serious constitutional violations at home is going to cost the world dearly some day because it is going to take decades to recover from what is coming.

Although everything you said is true it think the gist of this is far simpler than that!  I think Obozo is, in truth, a fundamentalist Muslim with an Iranian handler (Valarie Jarrett)  at his side and their orders arrive straight out of Tehran!

Louis Farrakhan might be the "inspirational" leader.
