Obama Job Approval Falls Below 40, Worse Than Bush At Same Point in Presidency

Fewer than 40 percent of the American people now approve of the job President Obama is doing as president, according to the latest Gallup daily tracking poll. Meanwhile, the percentage of American's who disapprove of Obama's job as president has risen to 54 percent.

Obama's new 39 percent approval rating may be the lowest of his second-term, but it is not the lowest of his presidency. During the 2011 debt limit fight, Obama's approval rating slipped to 38 percent and his disapproval rose to 55 percent.

Since then, hundreds of millions of dollars in television and social advertising helped raise Obama's approval rating to a post-election high of 58 percent. But without constant campaign spending to bolster his image, Obama's job approval has fallen steadily since.

By comparison, President Bush reached a 55 percent job approval rating shortly after his re-election, but it promptly declined steadily thereafter. At this same point in his presidency, just 43 percent of Americans approved of Bush, a full four points ahead of where Obama is now.

Gallup's daily tracking poll is based on a rolling three-day average of approximately 1,500 adults. The margin of error is +/- 3 points.

And once again, it should be stated that the entire left, in concert, beat up on President Bush daily in order to get his ratings down, while they have fallen down in worship of Obama, and hidden his arrogance and incompetence, not to mention his radical hard-core leftist agenda in order to salvage his image as a god.

In spite of that, the American people have seen through it and have begun to judge him correctly.

Half of the people in this country don't know what day it is much less who the president is so if only 39% approve of what he is doing I see that as a great victory.

There is always going to be that 30% who is blindly stupid.  Give him another month or two, and he'll hopefully bottom out there.

You can't reason with them.

They're either hardcore Marxists or willfully ignorant.

In either case, they're going to approve of Obama no matter what, and there's no way to get through to them.

The problem is that it is now the stupid/radical minority who are running the country, and it will take decades to recover from the damage they're causing...........if we ever do recover, that is........
