A photographer has captured the wondrous, miraculous moment of birth - in all its raw and unglamourised glory.

Taken before a mother has seen her baby for the first time these amazing photographs show the reality of how we all enter this world.

The warts and all pictures are the work of respected Danish photographer Suste Bonnen who was given unprecedented access to mothers while they were in labour.

2 grandsons...ages 7 and 12..

All boys! I had three sons, but got 4 granddaughters and 3 grandsons. The rest are step-grandchildren, and children. Pat has 3 sons, 3 grandsons, and one granddaughter. Then, he has two great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. They are all like my own, so Christmas is costly. Next year, I'm having a cut off. Once you graduate from HS, the party is over! LOL! Maybe I will just do birthdays!

Best wishes for the new baby.  They grow up too darn fast!

That was my thought when I had three sons. Didn't want to try for a girl, and get more boys. They kept me hopping, but I have no regrets. They come in handy as men! LOL!
