Methinks you've confused the company - the legal entity - with the high-level executives and officers that carry out the legal entity's activities.  The companies themselves - the legal entities - will probably end up dying sooner rather than later; the high-level executives and officers will have found other gainful employment, some at companies that sell other forms of insurance (life insurance, perhaps), some in other industries, and some will have wormed their way into government.  All that will remain will be the dried up, bankrupt shell of the legal entity, and rank-and-file employees who find themselves without a job and - irony of ironies - without health insurance.
