Your government may not be doing this to you.

Insurance companies leave markets on a regular basis.  They often leave because the cost of doing business in a particular state is too high.  The cost of treatment of your extraordinary illness could very well be contributing to their departure.

This is just the kind of guy that insurance companies and the government want to get rid of.

Too expensive to keep alive for the relatively minor tax and economic contribution that can be expected...
