Family jihad: Father takes five sons to join Syrian jihadists
« on: December 08, 2013, 12:34:22 PM »
This heartwarming story of a father teaching his children the family trade might not always be rosy. After all, kids will bicker: "Daaaaad! Ahmad stole my bomb vest!" "Now, Ahmad, give Muhammad back his bomb vest. No, wait, don't pull tha-----"

"Family jihad: father takes five sons to join Syrian rebels," by Damien McElroy and Ruth Sherlock for the Telegraph, December 6:

A Moroccan father has taken all five of his children — the youngest of them aged 13 — to fight for an Islamist faction in Syria, according to reports.
Ahmed al-Sha’ara took his sons across Europe and through Turkey before joining up with forces challenging President Bashar al-Assad, the Egyptian al-Aram website has reported.

Among them was Osama, 13, who had earlier accompanied his father on demonstrations in Tangiers, northern Morocco, against the jailing of Salafists — radical Sunni Muslims.

If confirmed, the family’s journey would support claims that large family groups from across the Muslim world are travelling to Syria in greater numbers....

Intelligence sources have told The Daily Telegraph that British Muslims make up the largest contingent of about 1,000 Westerners fighting with Islamist groups.

GOP House members came to Paul Ryan to be Speaker. He didn't come to them. And he was everybody's conservative darling back in 2012. So unless 1 of the remaining 240 wants to step up & do a better job in budgeting & negotiations & herding the party cats, then everybody please STFU. You go to battle with the army you have, not the one you want but don't have.

My thoughts: It can be good and bad...

The Good: Most likely they will get killed and chances of the committing Jihad in the west is 0%...

The Bad: They survive and come back and commit some kind of Jihad in the nation they come from...

Sadly, odds are on the 'good'.  Great for us, but not very good for your kids.

Hopefully the Syrian army will end their jihad and their family line.

I'm hoping for a nice long civil war in Syria..
