I like what he wrote but this continuous mantra by the media that Hussein's obvious Muslim background and affiliation is 'crazy' or 'hokum', is frustrating. It is like someone looking at a tree and claiming that it is not a tree. And the whole idea of it being a tree is a 'crazy conspiracy'.

Frustrating, but effective. In spite of what I've read about Obama, if you mention his muslim heritage to people who are middle right or anywhere left of that, they roll their eyes. The media has conditioned the public that any mention of Obama's past is from an extreme racist point of view.

Oh it is much more than "partly" the blame of congress.  These so-called hearings about all the over-steps are nothing other than putting lipstick on the pig so we are lulled into thinking they actually care what he has and is doing...  if they were serious we would have select committees (which Boehner steadfastly refuses to allow) and they would show up more than 113 days out of 365 a year.  And they would have stopped all these Czars even before Obama was elected...

One of the bits the Founders should have copied from the UK but didn't - all heads and deputy heads of government departments, which make up the cabinet, must be duly elected MP's. Most of the work is done by the permanent undersecretaries, but it provides more accountability.
