South Korea fired test Spike missile in October

South Korea successfully test-fired an Israeli-precision guided missile on its Yellow Sea border sometime in October, the South Korean Marine Corps announced Friday.
The missiles were part of an effort to forward deploy additional military capability to Yeonpyeong and Baengnyeong Islands in order to strengthen its border region with North Korea.

Jane's Defense Weekly reported that South Korea bought at least 67 Spike missiles after Yeongpyeong island was attacked by North Korea in November 2010. At its 65th Armed Forces Day on Oct. 1, the Republic of Korea Marines displayed their Rafael Spike-NLOS guided missiles.
