Just 7 percent think Obamacare is working

A CBS News poll found that just 7 percent of Americans believe Obamacare is working well and should be kept around.
Forty-eight percent think the law needs to be changed, but that it includes some good policies, and a close 43 percent think the law needs to be fully repealed.
The public’s disapproval of Obamacare’s rollout so far is matched by little hope for the future. While a whopping 66 percent think the enrollment process isn’t going well, according to the poll, almost two-thirds doubt whether HealthCare.gov will actually be fixed by the administration’s latest deadline, December 1.
A majority of Americans don’t believe the government will be able to fix the troubled site at all.
The CBS poll also noted that President Obama’s disapproval rating stands at 57 percent, a record high for his presidency. Obama’s drop in favorability is just slightly outdone by public disapproval of the Affordable Care Act itself: 61 percent of Americans, also a high according to CBS News, disapprove of the law.
Although a majority of Democrats polled still support Obamacare, support dropped from 74 percent in October to just 58 percent today.
High-profile Democrats have also been distancing themselves from the law publicly and letting out their frustration privately.
Democrats criticized the White House frankly at a closed door meeting last week demanding fixes to the law they supported.
“Don’t come here telling us [the Web site] would be fixed by November 30 because the whole world believes it won’t be fixed,” Democratic New York Rep. Jose Serrano reportedly said.
