You know what twitter needs? Another account live tweeting the JFK assassination as it happened 50 years ago.

ABC News says it will "live-blog the assassination of JFK as it unfolded."

The Canadian Press is "live tweeting" the JFK assassination in real time, and it's kind of disturbing to experience. https://twitter.com/CdnPress

Anyone else find all this "live" tweeting of JFK assassination just a little bit creepy?

@ktumulty More than a little.

@ktumulty  Yes. Can't read or watch. Reduces the assassination to "sound bites; "live tweeting." Feel it's disrespectful.

It's kind of eerie that they are "live tweeting" as if JFK is actually being shot today.

The biggest difference would be 50 years of hindsight, historical revision, and lies.  These are leftists, after all. :nono:
There is danger from all men. The only maxim of a free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty.
Public virtue cannot exist in a nation without private, and public virtue is the only foundation of republics. There must be a positive passion for the public good, the public interest, honour, power and glory, established in the minds of the people, or there can be no republican government, nor any real liberty: and this public passion must be superior to all private passions. I posted about my feelings on the Kennedy brouhaha on another forum. I didn't realize so many others feel like I do.  I switched from Fox to the Movie Channel. Kennedys 24/7 are not only tiring, but boring, with a lot of bs thrown in between.

Apparently our car is a new model TARDIS. Go out for a drive, come back, and my twitter is stuck in 1963.

Yes, it was a significant event. The coverage is a bit excessive.
