Pelosi: I never met anybody 'who liked his or her plan.'

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin

I would guess that there are significantly more people who do like their heath care plan than there are people who don't think their congressperson is an idiot.
Liberalism isn't really about making the world a better place. It's about reassuring the elites that they are good people for wanting to rule over it.

As Rep. Trey Gowdy put it, Pelosi is "mind-numbingly stupid"...

Interestingly, she still gets a lot more press time than does Tammy Fay Boehner.  Boehner is mind numbing dull.
