Poll: Mitt Romney beats President Obama today

As more bad poll numbers continue to pour in for President Barack Obama, a new survey finds that if the 2012 election matchup were held this month, Mitt Romney would hold the edge with the voters.

Romney topped Obama 49 percent to 45 percent among registered voters in the Washington Post-ABC News poll released Tuesday. Among all Americans, the 2012 rivals would be tied, at 47 percent.

Obama beat Romney 51 percent to 47 percent a year ago to win a second term.

The poll also found more bad news for Obama: His approval was down to 42 percent, a fall of 6 points from a month ago. Fifty-five percent disapproved of the job he is doing as president.

Support for the president’s signature health care law was also down 6 points since late October, standing at 40 percent. Fifty-seven percent said they oppose the law. Similarly, approval of Obama’s handling of Obamacare was also underwater, with 33 percent approving to 67 percent disapproving.

The Post surveyed 1,006 adults from Nov. 14 to 17 for the poll, which has an error margin of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.

In other words, Americans are stupid. Now that Obama's incompetence and dictatorial ways are on display in a way that the media can no longer hide, the public is starting to notice.

We've been telling them for YEARS!

Don't forget that such stupidity was mightily aided and abetted by both the mainstream media and the Federal government bureaucracy.

Obama's narratives were embraced and repeated uncritically by the news media, often word-for-word from campaign documents.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics dutifully fabricated unemployment numbers at just the right time to convince the Booboisie that they must believe The One and not their own lying eyes about how wonderful the economy was doing.

And all the while, the Federal Reserve pumped billions of dollars into the coffers of the six banks that control 70% of the United States' banking assets, levitating the stock market in advance of the election.

They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

That Romney--or almost any Republican candidate--wouldn't win by 10 tells me that a large percentage of the American electorate is not playing with a full deck.  How can any thinking person say they'd vote again for the lies and incompetence of 0bama?

Romney would have won if all the fraud and underhanded illegal crap didn't go on. We keep blaming him for a bad campaign, but no one could win against the Democrat Cheat Machine.

Especially in 2008, the year America was blessed with the first black presidential candidate who was clean and well spoken and fiscally conservative and a centrist and a constitutional law professor and against Bush's war and, and ... let's not forget ... cool  88888cool

Nope. No white Republican, nor white Democrat, for that matter, could have beaten Obama that year. History demanded it was time was for a black man to be elected president. Obama just happen to be standing in the right place at the right time – dammit!

Eight years is a high price to pay to elect a symbolic black person. Too bad we didn't get a good one.

Interesting comment, but....

If that's truly the case, the 'rat cheat machine is by now well-oiled and well-tested.

Assuming that it is, how can we expect to win against it again?

I don't think you can with these electronic voting machines,  We don't use them here in AZ - note we're still red.  People in Vegas reported watching the machines change from Romney to Obama right before their very eyes..... and remember those machines are the same machines they use to make certain the socialist stays in office in Venezuala... they were manufactured there (not sure they still are).
