Though nobody has been fired over the failed Obamacare rollout yet, Jonathan Karl of ABC said that that’s not always going to be the case. “What I’m hearing from the White House is: There will be changes to the president’s team coming out of this, but they are not looking to fire anyone now,” Karl said. “The president firmly believes that would be counterproductive. He needs these people working on fixing the problems.

Former Obama campaign manager David Plouffe agreed that President Obama needs to restore confidence somehow after the law’s problematic rollout.“I think once the website gets fixed, and it will, you have to step back and say, ‘Okay, what do I need to do to have confidence going forward?’” Plouffe said. “Once you stabilize, how do you give confidence to the American people and to the president himself?”
