Take care music..I hate severe weather at night...

It's passed by.  (We don't live in Ashland, but close enough!).

(Still a tornado watch until midnight).

Glad we're all OK!
Character still matters.  It always matters.

I wear a mask as an exercise in liberty and love for others.  To see it as an infringement of liberty is to entirely miss the point.  Be kind.

Use the time God is giving us to seek His will and feel His presence.

Looks like it's over.  The storms have become more of a squall line rather than super cell storms.

There are currently no active tornado warnings at this time.

Thanks for all the heads up. I wasn't paying any attention to the weather.  :silly:

One of the advantages of November storms like this is that because there is so much less daylight, there is less energy to destabilize the atmosphere and fuel storms like this, so they don't last as long.

That being said, there is a "local maximum" of thunderstorm and tornado events in November compared to other months around it, mainly because you have that cold air from the Arctic starting to descend, and when that clashes with warm air, you get the chance for storms. (Captain Obvious would be proud.) Still, because it's so much less solar energy, it's nowhere near as much the peak in springtime.

What's left of the storm is about to sweep through my area in a few minutes.

Going to unpin the thread.

Thankfully it wasn't as bad as predicted, but bad enough given the death and destruction.
