Obama to rally supporters on Monday

By Justin Sink

President Obama will hold a conference call with supporters on Monday night, seeking to rally his base after his poll numbers have plummeted in the wake of the botched rollout of ObamaCare.

On Friday, Obama sent a message to the email list of Organizing for Action, the political group born from his reelection campaign.

"This Monday, November 18th, I want to get on the phone with OFA supporters to touch base on the work you're doing, and what the next few months hold in the fight for change," the president writes in one version of the email.

Obama specifically mentions implementation of the Affordable Care Act, as well as immigration reform, environmental policy, gay marriage and the minimum wage as other possible topics of conversation.

"Hop on the phone with me this Monday, and let's talk," Obama said, directing supporters to a website to register for the call.

On Thursday, Obama apologized to supporters facing political pressure over what he described as the "fumbled" rollout of his signature bill.

Obama said during the press conference that after Democrats “stood up and supported this effort through thick and thin,” he felt “deeply responsible for making it harder for them, rather than easier for them to continue to promote the core values that, I think, led them to support this thing in the first place.”

President Obama addressed top donors and organizers supporting OFA at a healthcare summit in Washington earlier this month.

At that event, Obama implored his supporters to "stay on track" and "make this work."

"I've got one more campaign in me," Obama said. "The campaign to make sure this law works for every single person in this country."

Yes, Mr President, that surely is part of your problem but the real elephant in the room you refuse to acknowledge is The Promise. You lied. Your supporters bought into it and you made them look like fools.

The website meltdown, bad as it is, is secondary to that.

The Man-child's first and only instinct is to campaign. The first two-term President in history to have a campaign organization that's never gone away.
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

From what I've come to understand, it was the people who stood up OFO and OFA who were the braintrust behind the Obamacare website.  Essentially, they raised so much money for Obama and connected directly with so many people they figured designing the grand website Obama wanted would be no big deal.

Another point to consider is way back in '09, Obama gave an interview where he was asked about the lack of details for any of his plans, and he essentially said that he was going to provide the vision, and the brilliant people around him would fill in the details and make things work.  An excellent example of this is Christine Romer.  She had all kinds of grand economic ideas from her extensive time in academia, but like Obama, she never actually ran anything, never produced a product or held down an actual working kind of job.

So what Obama will really be doing is kicking these people in the butt in order to get out there and start defending him.

Indeed. Focusing on the website is majoring on the minor.

It's a disaster, to be sure, but most likely not impeachable fraud, as his BIG lie.

Maybe he's toying in his mind to run again in 2016.

After all, isn't the pesky 22nd Amendment racist -- an attempt to prevent the first black president from fulfilling his destiny to his people?

Remember, the Constitution isn't sacrosanct -- didn't it originally condone slavery?

Thus, shouldn't the racist portions of it be ignored as unenforceable?

Nowhere in the Constitution will you find the word slavery.  There are 4 sections which refer to it but only in ways that are subtle and the ultimate goal was extinction.  In the Constitution, importation of slaves was to have ended in 1808 though, again, the actually word slave is not used.  It was southern democrats who kept in alive with the help of some Whigs.  The Whigs and Democrats who were against slavery banded together and became the Republican party.

Another thing to take note of....have you noticed how suddenly nobody in the media or the Dhimmies is talking about "Obamacare"?  Suddenly it is "ACA" and "The Affordable Care Act"....anything except "Obamacare"....

Just the opposite, it set in motion the process for ending slavery. Article 1, Section 9 basically gave a date that the importation of slaves had to end. The 3/5ths Clause was actually put in place not to devalue the personhood of slaves, but to reduce the representation of slave states until they freed slaves. If the slaves were freed, they could count them for full representation.

Exactly right. Yet the left created this grand lie about the true intent and significance of the 3/5 clause for their own sick, twisted political purposes – just to keep low-info black voters on the Democrat plantation.

It's a form of political larceny; the stealing of votes through deceit and deception.
