Quote
He really wanted a donut.

Florida authorities have arrested a man who they say was flashing a fake police badge and a firearm to get discounts at Dunkin Donuts.

Pasco County police say Charles Barry made two stops at a store in Trinity on Nov. 6 and 7  before he was busted, Fox 13 reports. After the first stop, an employee told their manager about Barry and they were able to get his license plate number on surveillance video when he stopped the next day.

Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said Barry told him he got the badge from his father, who is a police officer in Morris County in New Jersey.

I don't think Dunkin Donuts gives discounts to cops anymore. Even so, the kid is cheap, and should get a job to be able to afford donuts. Geesh!

Ya ever noticed schools get shot up more than donut shops?
Why?  Well, because I'm a bastard, that's why.

Anybody recall the TV show Police Squad! which starred Leslie Nielsen and was the basis for the Naked Gun movies? As the show opened they ran the credits while a police car barreled down the street, code 3, red lights flashing, siren wailing. Then as the credits ended it screamed into the parking lot of a donut shop which was filled with cop cars.

It was a funny show, btw. Same kind of wacko humor and jokes as were in the movies, only delivered much more quickly because the show was only on for a half hour. It didn't last long, maybe 6 or 8 episodes, and it can be found on DVD.

Clasic "Police Squad bits:

[During a gun battle] "Cover ME!" [Second Detective throws a blanket over the speaker]

"Send for a Black and White"! In comes a cop leading a zebra with a dome light on its head.

"Let's go out in the Japanese garden" [at an egagement party]. Couple then walks out to area  with a bunch of Asians standing in large flower pots.

Any closing credits where everything freezes but one character doing inane things

Almost any scene with the creepy Mr. Wizard lab guy.
