CAIR & Muslim Leaders Plot Shariah Law Court in US
Approximately 15 Muslim leaders, including Dawud Walid, Executive Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations' Michigan chapter, met at the end of September in order to discuss establishing Islamic Shariah law courts that would grant women a divorce.
Apparently, an article by Natasha Dado of the Arab American News, sparked the meeting, due to her exposing the difficulties Muslim women have in getting a divorce because their husbands refuse to grant them one.
Many Muslim women are denied a divorce, even if their husbands are very abusive. Even more so, many are made vulnerable to honor killing due to the same mentality.
Walid agreed that injustice existed and said the issue was brought up.
According to Arab American News:
Dawud Walid, executive director of the Council on American Islamic Relations, said many imams at the meeting agreed that injustice existed, surrounding the issue and discussed establishing an arbitration system that would help prevent women from having to go "imam shopping." Walid said the subject was brought up as a result of the article.
The new system would consist of an arbitrational body that handles divorce disputes to prevent women from having to turn to multiple religious leaders when seeking a divorce. One issue with establishing such a system is that only approximately 20 imams attend the monthly meeting, and it would be necessary for all Muslim religious leaders in metro Detroit to agree on it.
The meetings between imams are held every month throughout the year to discuss important issues in the community. No follow-up meeting was held in October, because it is the time that Muslims around the world make the Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca.
Now understand that if this was brought up in a Muslim country (something that DHS advisor Mohamed Elibiary should understand that the US is not), then the women speaking up would be silenced. In fact, with the way Shariah works the woman might find herself beaten or worse.
Canton, Michigan divorce attorney Mona Fadallah says that "Isma" (a woman's right to an uncontested divorce) is usually frowned upon and not accepted among devout Islamic families.
"This will not work in the situation where the families are more in control of the marriage. The more traditional families will not go for it," Fadallah said. "I feel like if you exercised it, there would be no Islamic divorce issues."
Isma, in the Islamic culture, is viewed as shameful and puts the man down.
Sometimes there are instances where the man divorces his wife in civil court, but refuses to divorce her religiously. This is an indication that Shariah trumps US state and federal law.
Remember, Islam allows for deception. I take it that the push to advance Shariah in the United States will start with this type of a court, but will quickly broaden in order to advance the caliphate.
Dallas-Fort Worth CAIR Director Herman Mustafa Carroll has openly stated "If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land."
Even our own federal government, which has been infiltrated by Muslim Brotherhood members, including Barack Hussein Obama, has sought to advance the Muslims agenda. Obama's Justice Department was engaged this past summer in forcing an Islamic Supremacist mosque in Henrico County, Virginia. Also, this past summer the FBI teamed up with the Justice Department's Bill Killian to present a not-so-veiled threat to non-Muslims in Tennessee about speaking out against Islam on social media, threatening federal charges and imprisonment. They were met with hundreds of protesters that told them what they could do with that idea!
The fact that CAIR is behind this is not surprising. The organization is an unindicted co-conspirator to fund the Palestinian jihadist organization Hamas.
Our own Publius Huldah has explained just how we can stop the Islamic ideology via our current laws. We have also seen the likes of William Coley of Muslims 4 Liberty engage in stealth jihad in Tea Party organizations. Several states have undertaken attempts at implementing Shariah law bans and some even passing measures. Among those states are North Carolina, Arizona, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Tennessee. Some governors remain oblivious to the threat of Islam and veto such measures. That's not all. There are federal judges who toss out anti-sharia laws as well.
The US must now rise up against Islam and eradicate it, making such drastic moves as Germany did this year in banning three Muslim groups that have sought to impose Shariah in Germany. We must petition our elected officials at the state level to advance and end to such Islamic agendas, and then we must demand that the federal government follows suit, beginning with an immediate stop of all persons coming from Islamic countries. This should be of grave concern to all Americans, not just those in Michigan.
