Quote
The failure of Tea Party-backed candidates in Tuesday's election shows that Democrats have been successful in making the Tea Party label a negative for Republicans, even if it isn't always clear what being a Tea Party candidate means.

Exit polls in Virginia, where Republican Ken Cucinelli lost to Democrat Terry McAuliffe, show 42% of voters had a negative opinion of the Tea Party movement. Those voters went overwhelmingly for McAuliffe.

"Try"???

That's been the M.O. of the Democrat Party and of their public relations arm (a/k/a: the Mainstream Media) for the past two years, at least.
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

When the general public is stupid, a unified media is extremely powerful.

They have rendered Fox News irrelevant. Even real stories that appear on Fox are doubted until they show up elsewhere. To many Americans, Fox News is the broadcast equivalent of the Weekly World News. To be fair, Fox with their Jerry Springer style of panels hasn't helped itself in that regard.

Republican now means rich, old, angry, racist white MEN. No one in the public wants to vote Republican because it's just not cool.

Tea Party now means Republicans that have had their cheese slide off their cracker. Extreme versions of Republicans. Uber uncool.

America is like an alcoholic that doesn't even realize he's an alcoholic yet. The parties are going on, spending OPM, all kinds of crazy rules to keep those uncool Republican in check. It's just a blast. This alcoholic doesn't even realize what's being lost, and how high the cost is of the party. America will have to hit rock bottom before it can rebuild. Nothing any of us can do to stop it. America will fall, and in my lifetime. We are heading to a "Berlin Wall" moment.

Well, if we could lose that jerk with the straw skimmer and tea bags dangling from it and the other guys in the minute man get ups, we might be taken just a bit more seriously.
Why?  Well, because I'm a bastard, that's why.
