On Wednesday, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said felons could be Obamacare navigators that help Americans attempt to enroll in Obamacare and obtain sensitive personal information about enrollees.

During a Senate Finance Committee hearing, Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) asked Sebelius, "Isn't it true there is no federal requirement for Navigators to undergo a criminal background check?"

"That is true, "Sebelius said. "States could add additional background checks and other features but it is not a part of the federal requirement."

Cornyn then asked whether a "convicted felon could be a navigator and could acquire sensitive personal information" about potential enrollees.

"That is possible," Sebelius said. She then said the organizations the administration had contracts with "have taken the responsibility" to screen Obamacare navigators.

Possible?  How about likely?  Who are the groups getting navigators?  Groups like ACORN so you know it will be like speaking to San Quentin. :pondering:
