Maintenance implies the program is already working. I think "revamp" is the better word to describe this disaster. I'm not about to call that number after seeing what Obama's goons did to that one reporter.

12 hours offline is extended maintenance, eh? 

Ya know, every time Windows issues another maintenance package, inevitably they end up issuing several more to fix the problems the first update brought to light.  Whatever they are doing to the Obamacare website isn't going to accomplish a whole lot with just a twelve hour shutdown.  You can't even test the patches you just installed in that little time.
