Technically they don't 'drop you'.
They just charge you so much that you leave 'of your own free will'.

Not true, they are dropping people. The reason is if you have a plan which doesn't have maternity coverage, contraceptive coverage, mental health coverage then they have to either drop you or raise the prices beyond the allowed increased amount (under admin rules) which also requires them to drop you. In addition a lot of carriers are opting out of covering OCare patients and dropping patients in their plans.
